How It Works:
Most people have probably seen a 3 foot flame from a can of deodorant when someone lights the spray with a lighter. Your average can of deodorant contains a lovely cocktail of flammable and explosive gases like:
- Butane
- Isobutane
- Propane
A beer can is dropped in the barrel which rests on a strut at the bottom of the lower Pringles tube. Deodorant is then sprayed through a small hole in the side of the biscuit tins, then ignited with a lighter held to the hole.
How Its Made:
It consists of 2 Pringles tubes taped together to form the barrel, and 2 biscuit tins taped together to form the combustion chamber. The barrel is then securely attached to the biscuit tins to form the mortar as you can see from the page background.
